We are pleased to announce that the University of Pecs in cooperation with South Bohemia University, the University of Nitra, and the Medical College of Rzeszow University are cooperating in the project titled New dimensions in health sciences with special focus on health care development (ID 22410228) with an approved budget of 22 265 EUR. The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The University of Pécs, Faculty of Health Sciences cordially invites you to the scientific conference and symposium entitled "New dimensions in health sciences with special focus on health care development” to be held between September 19-20, 2024 in Pécs, Hungary. This conference follows the thematics of former conferences and also covers the themes of the following events:

The meetings initiated in 2008 at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice are an important forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience of scientific and professional communities of nurses and representatives of other medical professions from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
The symposium will gather the academic community, nurses and paramedics, whose participation in the event is recognised with credits as part of their optional continuing education. We will compare the good practices of APN nursing, critical care, simulation and internationalisation in V4 countries. Other benefits of the cooperation of the partnering universities are to combat common challenges, e.g. the shortage and immigration of healthcare workforce abroad.
The conference together with the aims written above is also supported by the State Secretary of Health of the Ministry of the Interior of Hungary.
